Vasilenko's family lived in Mariupol. They had a son Vasilenko David born in 2016. Now Inna is 8 months pregnant. A husband- soldier of the "Azov" regiment died in the battle for Mariupol on March 24, 2022. On 20 April, Inna and her children left city through a humanitarian corridor. They lost everything in Mariupol.

They are now living in Khmelnitsky in a camp for temporarily displaced people. Apart from the children, Inna has nothing. The family has not yet received any help from the government because, as of July 2022, the occupiers have not handed over the bodies of the dead soldiers. It is very difficult for the family to live solely on what people help them with.
