This family's war story began in 2014. Yegor has a wife Yulia and two children a boy Lev aged 11 and a girl Arnika aged 9. The family was displaced from Donetsk when the war started. Since Donetsk was taken over by the Russian Federation, the family has lived in Dnipro, Kremechug, Lviv and Kyiv. The children received their first mental injuries from the war in 2014 and had a very difficult time socialising.

On 29.05.2014, Yegor went to fight in the Dnipro-1 battalion. On 30.08.2014 he was injured in a mine blastAs a result, he became a group 3 invalid. He continued to fight until September 2019.

When the brutal war started in 2022, Yegor evacuated his wife and children from Kiev and went to fight as a volunteer. On 14.03.2022 he was again seriously wounded near Moshun. He has already undergone five operations. And needs one or two more.
